    Certain features may require you to create an account.

  2. 3.2

    You agree to:

    • provide accurate, complete, and current information;
    • keep your account information up to date;
    • keep usernames, passwords, API credentials, and other access details secure;
    • restrict access to your account to authorised individuals; and

4. Traceability Data and User Content

  1. 4.1

    “User Content” means information, data, documents, records, images, certificates, product descriptions, supplier details, batch information, origin information, environmental or sustainability information, and other materials submitted to the Platform by or on behalf of a user.

  2. 4.2

    You retain ownership of your User Content.

  3. 4.3

    You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, process, reproduce, transmit, display, and otherwise use User Content to the extent reasonably necessary to operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Platform and provide the services to you.

  4. 4.4

    You are responsible for ensuring that User Content:

    • is accurate and not misleading;
    • is kept reasonably up to date where required;
    • has been lawfully obtained;
    • does not infringe intellectual property, privacy, confidentiality, or other rights;
    • does not contain unlawful, fraudulent, defamatory, or harmful material; and
    • may lawfully be uploaded, processed, and shared through the Platform.

5. Accuracy of Traceability Information

  1. 5.1

    The Platform may display information supplied by manufacturers, suppliers, distributors, customers, certification bodies, third-party systems, or other users.

  2. 5.2

    Unless expressly stated otherwise, we do not independently manufacture, inspect, test, certify, audit, or verify every product or data record displayed on the Platform.

  3. 5.3

    The existence of a traceability record, QR code, digital passport, certificate, verification status, or other information on the Platform does not by itself constitute a guarantee that:

    • a product is authentic;
    • information supplied by a third party is complete or accurate;
    • a product complies with all applicable laws or standards;
    • a supplier has complied with all contractual or regulatory obligations;
    • a certification remains valid; or
    • a product is suitable or safe for a particular purpose.
  4. 5.4

    Where the Platform provides verification features, the meaning and limitations of that verification will be described within the relevant service or accompanying documentation.

  5. 5.5

    Users should undertake any independent checks required by law, regulation, industry standards, contractual obligations, or their own risk-management procedures.

6. Prohibited Uses

  1. 6.1

    You must not use the Platform:

    • for unlawful, fraudulent, deceptive, or misleading purposes;
    • to create false provenance, origin, certification, compliance, or traceability records;
    • to alter or conceal material information about a product or supply chain;
    • to impersonate another person or organisation;
    • to upload malicious software or harmful code;
    • to interfere with the security or proper operation of the Platform;
    • to gain unauthorised access to another user’s account or data;
    • to scrape, harvest, or extract data except where expressly permitted by us;
    • to reverse engineer or attempt to derive the source code of the Platform except where such restriction is prohibited by law;
    • to circumvent usage limits, security measures, or access controls; or
    • in any way that may damage our reputation, systems, users, or third parties.

7. QR Codes, Identifiers and Digital Records

  1. 7.1

    The Platform may generate QR codes, serial numbers, digital identifiers, product passports, or other links to traceability records.

  2. 7.2

    You are responsible for ensuring that identifiers associated with your products are applied, printed, distributed, and used correctly.

  3. 7.3

    You must not knowingly duplicate, manipulate, misuse, or associate an identifier with an incorrect, counterfeit, substituted, or unauthorised product.

  4. 7.4

    We may disable or invalidate identifiers where we reasonably believe they are being used fraudulently or improperly.

  5. 7.5

    When a batch is created or updated, we record a summary of it on the Electroneum blockchain, a public blockchain network. Each record contains:

    • the batch ID;
    • coded reference numbers for the product, the brand, and the location the batch was recorded at (not their names or addresses);
    • the production step, such as Harvested, Bottled, or Packaged;
    • the IDs of any batches it was made from; and
    • the date and time it was recorded.
  6. 7.6

    Blockchain records can be viewed by anyone and are permanent: once recorded, they cannot be changed or deleted by you, by us, or by anyone else, including after your account ends. A correction is recorded as a new update, and the original record remains. Please check batch details carefully before you save them.

  1. 8.1

    The Platform may contain information obtained from third parties or integrate with third-party platforms, software, databases, certification providers, logistics systems, blockchain networks, payment providers, or other external services.

  2. 8.2

    We are not responsible for the availability, operation, accuracy, or security of third-party services that are outside our reasonable control.

  3. 8.3

    Your use of a third-party service may also be subject to that provider’s own terms and privacy policy.

    Unless otherwise stated:

    • fees are exclusive of applicable taxes;

    • we may change our pricing for future subscription periods by providing reasonable notice.
